I've been playin guitar for about a year and a half now but I've pretty much been teaching myself how to play. The problem is reading tabs, I feel like I can only teach myself so much and its soo hard to read. Does anyone have any suggestions or websites that can help me out:):)???

i seem to remember these sites have tutorials on tab. your best bet is just to do a google search though for tablature tutorial, its very easy to read once you understand it.
seems that needlessly its getting harder

I have had better luck on all good tabs than just about any other web site that I know about.
Take time to see the sky,
    Find shapes in the clouds.
Hear the murmur of the wind
    and touch the cool water.
    Walk softly,
    we are intruders,
    tolerated briefly
    In an infinite universe.

Do yourself a favor. Don't learn to read the tabs you get on the internet. Get a good guitar magazine, and learn to read the tabs with the proper rhythms. Make sure you know what a measure is, and how to count in 4/4, 3/4 etc.

At least do that for yourself. You will be glad you did. I used to teach guitar, and I wold refuse to help people when they brought in those internet "tabs". They have no musical information in them. They are just a bunch of numbers typed from a keyboard.

    Well...

    http://www.giventowail.com/

Given To Wail has a good "how-to" tab section in their FAQ's.

    Also, check out:

...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.
