shit thats what u gotta do? lol
yeah i have adaptors for 2 of my pedals, the other 3 or 4 i dont...i run through batteries like every other day...adaptors are expensive, like 20$ just for 1
Ebay my friend
$5 to 6 for a 2 pack, the adaptor pays for itself in 3 trips to the store.
I've got a switchmode power adaptor that runs everything I have, I payed around 50 bucks for it.
unplug the ones running off batteries, yes.
how long do they last usually?
If you got adaptors for 2 pedals, depending on what they are get the chain and run one power supply thru all of them. I don't have problems, when I actually use more than one pedal, which is extremely rare.
Hey heres an idea, screw it, get rid of all the pedals!!! Play straight in the amp!

depends on the current draw of the pedal. as you just learned with the delay, you're getting maybe 12-14 hours out of it.
it doesnt do well when you got a Marshall MG10 Mini Amp thats a piece of crap
My boost pedal will last over a week without disconnecting and that seems to be average for many of my boxes.

BJF powers my Pedal Board
HailHail...my advice is to get a Boss TU-2 tuner and then get a daisy chain. The TU-2 can power up to 8 pedals. Also, the NS-2 (noise reducer) also can be used with the daisy chain, as well as the LS-2? (Line Selector).
"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone
"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV
Most pedals use the input jack as the master power switch... when a cable is plugged in, it will draw juice on "stand-by." It'll last longer than with the effect on, but still draws juice.
Digital effects, especially time-based digital (chorus, echo, delay, reverb) use batteries the worst. The nice thing is you can take that "dead" battery out of your digi delay and put it in a distortion or overdrive, and recycle it. The batteries aren't shot, they just can't supply the amperage that digital pedals want to see.

I used to do that, too, but some of those cheap batteries can't supply the amperage to a digital pedal, even right out of the packaging. I know my DigiVerb would only work with name-brand batteries.
Get one of these, after 8 packs of batteries you'll be ahead:

i was thinking of just getting a pedal board that has a AC Adaptor to it
say i have an adaptor already, can i just get a daisy chain and connect the plug into the daisy chain and put the daisy chain plugs into my pedals?
I don't know of any that would do that, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.
The Godlyke is the cheapest one I'd use, after that I'd look at the Dunlop DC Brick, the VHT Valvulator, or the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power II. I use the PP2.
i was looking at the DC Brick
I miss you already, I miss you all day
Tubescreamers and overdrives in general don't need a lot of power... you can use the cheapest batteries, or the batteries your digital pedals won't work with anymore, and they'll last forever. But that doesn't mean you can't give them a little more. You're pretty much safe with any of the Boss-type power supplies.
40mA.
and an adapter will only put out what it needs to so as long as you've got one that will put out at least 40mA in that case.
