not bad, should be pretty cool.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

it can also be modded and I know Keeley has a true bypass box he sells, it is on his site and its not that expensive.
Will it kill your tone, no. If you had 3,4, 5 or 6 then I would say yes.

If you won the auction, you should buy the pedal. True bypass is not that big of a deal. As said, if you have 5-7 non true bypass pedals in a row... you might here something. However, the concept itself is used as a marketing gimmick. There are companies that push there pedals as "real" true bypass. It is a term that gets used.

The bottom line, try it. If you here a problem with it in your chain... take it out. Maybe it effects your tone in a way that you like... ;)

  • Hey,

I read an interesting article the other day. It was talking about how true bypass isn't a big deal if the pedal already has a good "off circuit". For instance supposedly the Ibanez Ad9 delay has an "off" circuit that is so good the average person can't tell between it and actual true bypass. And then Keeley is selling true bypass AD9s for 190 US when there is no audible difference for most people between true bypass and factory design. People have become super obsessed with true bypass.
