the hot rod deluxe is ok. the clean channel is good. the drive channel with the "boost" is terrible.
better option: http://fender.com/products/search.php?partno=2232200000
bassmans are indeed 4x10.
oh I see you listed it, excellent work Je sus.
It still could benifit from a better speaker or good breeding from Clark. I'm still dreaming of that one on Ebay.
its not, he said its a 50 watt 59' bassman 1x12 and it has like a nice wood finish
doesn't exist.
deluxes were release in wood cabinets though.
It's possible that it's a '59 Bassman that's been fitted to a custom wood cab with a single 12" speaker. But it's not a 1x12" factory job, that doesn't exist. But don't write off the possibility of it being a custom job.
The Blues Deluxe and Hot Rod Deluxe are great amps so long as you never use the drive channel. But put a good OD in front, and they're amazing, great cleans and a decent reverb.
not for $600.
But if it is, he better snag it.
i was thinking of downsizing (in wattage) to a 20watt amp...like the Traynor YCV20...you think that will be loud enough on its own without a PA to get over the drums when jamming? Im only asking this because i dont even think i can do 30 or 40 watts where i live
And 22 watts is the best.
If i get a deluxe its going to be used off of ebay
