Into the Wild vinyl

Haven't seen any mention of this for a while. When is the Into the Wild soundtrack going to be released on vinyl? Please don't let down those of us who love this superior format. This was Ed's first solo project. Certainly it has to be made eventually, right?

    Do we think this is legit? Seems like it is a little pricey.

    If it isn't pressed off the master recording, it's probably another one of those foreign boot pressings straight off the digital format. I'd hate to drop $50 for another crappy vinyl reproduction. Can you find it for sale anywhere else?

    i've searched if it was available anywhere else but I didn't find. Strange. ButI've already bought vinyls on the site above and they were ok.

    Something makes me think the 10C would have let us know (even w/ their history the last couple of years) if this was going to released on vinyl. The fact that some random website has it for a shit load of money makes me think it's not legit.

    I would be suspicious. I collect vinyl and I've purchase many foreign pressings. They're alright, but they aren't pressed off the original studio masters. They are simply taken off a CD and pressed to vinyl, they get you with the limited supply and the high price and make you think you are getting a master recording on vinyl, but when the needle drops you can tell by the quality it's digital. The only way I can describe it is the "highs" kinda sqeek and the "lows" kinda buzz and may even be mp3 recordings which are limited range with no equalizer response and rather "tinny" sounding.

    If it were a European artist, I might not be so inclined to have my doubts, but right now I'd do some research before I bought it.

    I'm at work and on my iPhone so I can't do much searching. I'd appreciate anyone else's knowledge.

    I'd like to have a copy if it's legit.

    well i just ordered it so i hope it's ok... but i trust Velvet, they're a pretty decent franchise.
    can't find it anywhere else though...

    It says:

    This LP is only available as EU-import. We ordered it, but unfortunately we can not give guaranties about the delivery-time of imports. We can only tell you that the average delivery-time of EU-imports is about 20 business-days. Notice: That's based on an average and therefore just an indication.

    So, it sucks !
    I'm not paying it and I'll cancel my order. I don't want to pay for something that wil maybe not arrive before 6 months...

    yeah i got this email too... i'm not going to cancel it though... just wait and see. i hope it doesn't take forever. :(

    I wish I could know if this was legit or a bad reproduction like the version of Lateralus on vinyl that was recorded from mp3s. If it's the latter there's no point in having it.

    I think it's legit. The label is Vinyl Films but is not listed on their site yet.(http://www.cameroncrowe.com/ears/index.html#vinyl)

    On the European distributor site it says is going to be released next month

    This may be why nobody has it in stock yet.
