Today I found some stuff to play around with an I'll review it.
First off I know I kept talking about the Blues Deluxe RI saying it was great and everything, it turned out I was playing a different amp when I played it. I played a 57 Twin and I thought it was great. The BDRI had a nice clean but the overdrive was a nay.
Finally got to play a LP Faded Double Cutaway. I hated it, the sound was awesome but the feel of it was awful, the fretboard looked like it was some cheap peice of shit. I did play a SG Classic though which I haven't played in a while and I fell in love with it, sounded amazing through the 59 LTD Bassman I was using.
I played the VOX15CC...Honestly, I didn't care for it, but I thought the reverb tank sounded alrite to me.
Then I got my Deluxe Ash Strat I played that through a few amps but I played it through the VOX AD120, and honestly I'm not going to lie...I kind of liked it SOOOO many tones to get out of that...Vox came out with a pedal that is based on that amp, and it was something cool to fool around with if your that type of person but I wasn't spending 300$ on that pedal.
Then went to a mellow side and played some Uke
Played a Taylor 110. Felt pretty good but didn't care for the tone. Played some 4500$ Gibson acoustic that sounded like shit, the 110 sounded better for 600$.
Then after 45 minutes of playing with shit...went back to my Fender Deluxe Ash Strat with the 59 Bassman LTD, and was in heaven The guy said to me if I wanted to crank it up more I can since there was only 1 more person in the store. So I did, and jizzed while I played Ledbetter and Over The Hills and Far Away

I can't really blame them. It was by FAR, the best telecaster I've ever played.
I forgot to mention this was at GC so I was a bit limited to what I could play with. But I may get that Ash from them...If they get it down to between 1100-1150, I will buy it.

Had one of my songs not just been picked up for the Fox Television show "House", I wouldn't have been able to bring her home.
This is a new instrument built by a Ian Anderson from TGP.

Did you try the SG through the Vox? I bet that would have been a dope sound!
What would you say if I told you that you could get into an Ian Anderson (my new guitar) for less than the cost of a new Les Paul Std?
...and it's completely hand made.

Yeah I played the SG through the Vox, I didn't mess with the Vox that much though I couldn't figure out how the footswitched worked. I didn't know what A was and what B was because I couldn't turn it up at the time to hear it. I do love the 30 so I would probably like the 15 if I actually did work with it.
And what I would say to you is that I would rather get a Deluxe Ash Strat Haha, but that guitar looks amazing, I bet it sounds great too. I don't care for Les Pauls only because they weigh a tone, the only LP I would get is a Elitist by Epiphone but I wouldn't spend $1200 on an Epiphone...sounds like I'm close minded but I'm not
I'm going to check out the Ian Anderson's...
+1
A is reverb. B is trem.
thing with the AC15 is, no headroom. especially with hot pickups. i mean, you can get a clean tone, and it's nice, but breakup comes so early that you need to adapt with the guitar's volume knob.
my new reverb tank is here so maybe by the weekend i'll know what improvements are gained, if any in that area.
i haven't played in days though. my keeley BD-2 arrived monday. haven't even plugged it in. don't really care anymore.
trying to sell my house and buy a new one etc. etc. too much else going on.
Cool deal, and the things is beautiful. I watch that show, what ep should I look for the song in?
When I go to a store again I'll play with the 15 a little more, because I am considering it as an amp to travel with instead of carrying my big ass Traynor.
I hear you on being busy...I've been busy with job interviews and stuff for school since it's starting soon. Today was the first day I played in a few days as well...
But I did get a new job today officially that gets me about 3x more a week then what I was making so that strat is coming home soon
I didn't mean it by heavy wise, i ment it by like size to fit into my car...my Traynor barely fits in the back seat
The Blues Jr. isn't exactly light either!
The EP is called The Tattwas. I'm pretty sure that it's on iTunes. I might have to uploade another song or two though. I will check

i'll second that...i m pretty sure my hiwatt head and 2/12 is actually lighter in tandem
