I was just wondering if i could get a few suggestions/reccomendations from some of you good people on which pedal to buy. I want something (in a stomp box preferably) which gives a nice sounding effect for live use but also produces some wild and interesting sounds when messed around with. I was not impressed with the boss phase shifter or flanger and have been warned away form the electro harmonix "the worm" pedal. Any suggestions from some more experienced guitarists would be most appreciated. Thanks guys

This one is outstanding from one of our board members, Telesonic. He also has a blue version called the uni-phase, a more swooshy phase tone.

also check out the red witch moon phaser

as far as flangers those are really subjective.

Maxon has some great ones as does MXR and maybe the best might be the Fox Rox TZF

but if you can stomach the looks Line 6 just came out with a very flexible version in the Tone Core line.

    look around, http://www.tonefactor.com
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.
  • Both the shannon and the red witch moon phaser look awesome. And i aint ever came across that tonefactor site before. Very useful thanks mate

pleased to be of service. http://www.tonefrenzy.com is another kind of underground site that might help you on your modulation tone search.

    check out http://www.thegearpage.net too.
