tried out for a band today and...

realized that I dont really want to be in a band right now.

I had been desparate for a band in the two months since I quit my last band, and I jammed with a couple guys and I wasnt feeling it. They were good and everything. I just wasnt feeling it. Maybe it is the fact that I was completely unhappy in the last band, and I could tell that I was not going to get along with these guys too much. I dunno

the thing I miss about being in a band is playing shows, because that is the greatest feeling ever, well, that and sex, obviously.

I'm sure this is just a phase, because I enjoy jamming and playing shows.

Maybe I should get a good repetoire of original songs and work on my singing and play open mics and coffee houses or something. I want to play live, but I dont know if I want a band. It's a wierd feeling.

Dude, performing is great. I've got a band going but it'll be a while before we'll be playing live anywhere. That's why our singer and i are just gonna get out and do some open mic nights etc locally. Can't wait
