piano tuning....

how much does it generally cost to have someone come out and tune a piano? im thinking as a christmas gift...

    I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say about $150-$200. The last time my sister had her piano tuned about 5 years ago it cost around $100. Call around and get a couple quotes.

    It depends on who does it and what needs to be done.

    A quick tune around here is $70 or so, but if the piano is far away from where it should be, or if you need other little things done it'll be between $100-120.
