Help... im in a band... but..

well my friend and i went to our local music store, and he was eager to replace his small peavey for a half stack...

we walk in and the first half stack he sees (a crate with an excalibur head) he buys...

we walk in the same store about 2 weeks later... and there was an even better halfstack (a marshall mind you)... and he says "its okay.. mine is better anyway"

well the point of the story is dont just buy what you see first... he obviously had no background on which one was better.
