Fixing a pickup selector

I've been using an Aria les paul copy for a while now, but recently the pickups seemed to fade out when set to 'rhythm'.
I opened it up and took a look, as I figured loose connection, but I can't see anything.
Is it the selector switch that would be the problem? It's a standard 3 way selector. Or how would I tell if it's the connections?

What we learn from experience depends on what philosophy we bring to experience. It is therefore useless to appeal to experience before we have settled, as well as we can, the philosophical question. - C.S. Lewis, Miracles

If you can't figure it out by looking at the pickups and switch, perhaps try re-soldering everything (you may
just have a bad solder somewhere). If still nothing then try replacing the switch and see it that does it.♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫
