engagement ring engraving

going ring shopping this weekend for my gf...

i really want to get a line from a pj song engraved into it... but it's very tough to pick...

I was thinking something from parachutes or low light...

some help please?

    For those who scoff at "Jamily" in my name... 9 years ago, when my first daughter was born there were jokes about whether my priority would be my family or PJ. I smiled and quipped "I am a JamilyMan." What was a family joke became a hated term among jammers. Didn't see that one coming!

    Wow how incredibly upbeat.

    Take it from me, use your own lyric. My first date with my baby daddy was to see a band who was still playing really small clubs & eventually went on to achieve major superstardom, and when our daughter was born I got a locket with their lyrics to a song inscribed. I never wear it because it makes me feel like a really lame fan.

    What happens if the band breaks up or one of the members is convicted of a heinous crime? Not the greatest thing to be wearing on your hand.

    That shouldn't change the meaning of the words to you. It's one thing if you get "Pearl Jam" engraved on the rings, a totally different thing if it's a quote about love...or whatever.

    My wife engraved give me your forever form the tracey chapman song. we used to dance to it in college all the time and it meant alot to both of us.

    If you use a quote- use one that means something special to her or to the both of you. You shouldnt have to explain to her what it means or what song its from.

    That being said- I recommend anything from Billy Squier, Judas Priest, or boyz to men

    Make sure she's going to say yes, because jewelers won't take back rings that are engraved. Good luck to you!
