Hey guys, please give me some feedback on these three clips.
We dont have a singer, so its just music.

i really liked the 2nd one. i could actually hear some lyrics with the song in my head. sounded really good, but you're too far, so good luck.
  • I definitely preferred the second and third clips to the first one. You guys seem like you have a good groove going on but it's hard to really give anymore general feedback without knowing where the song would be going with vocals/lyrics.

Was there anything specific you wanted feedback on?

    2 and 3 definitely better than 1 :)
  • I understand you're looking for a singer, but while you still dont have one you should add a little more veriety to the music; such as an alternative chorus riff. The tracks are still really good though, especially the second one.

#3 has a neat Zep-like feel to it. #2 reminded of something Metallica sounding, first impression right off the bat. Not sure about #1. I think a great singer could really take those songs to another level. The drummer's kicking out some solid beats. Sounds great. I'd be proud to call any piece of those samples my own. Good luck. Always neat to hear other people's stuff. There's so much unsigned good music out there to listen to.

right on, im the drummer :-)

Thanks for the compliments. If you thought #2 sounded like metallica, you should hear the interlude/solo section. Im just doing 16ths on the double bass while the guitar and bass just play this really heavy riff, its pretty cool.

I would post it, but we havnt gotten a clip thats worthy of being heared yet, when ever we get into that section for about the 1st measure and 1/2 my bassdrums are off :-/ i just need to practice starting right on tempo right away.

We will be having a meeting soon to decide on what we are going to do, i personally want to get going, even with out a singer.
