Recording question

Just have a quick question. I have a bunch of stuff on tape that I've recorded and was wondering what program or type of program would be best for transferring it all onto my computer. I have a microphone and stuff to use but am unsure of what software would be sufficient. Any help would be great.

Sorry for the late reply. Software-wise, GoldWave is shareware and as good as anything out there for stereo recording and editing. It's the hardware you'll be using that I'm more concerned about. More info on this would help us help you better.0

You will need a way to get into your computer before you even get to software. What are you recording with now, and what kind of outputs does it have?0
