So yeah I went to pick up this Mexican Fender Telecaster today from guitar center. I was getting the thing for $150 because there was a chip on it. I had it on lay-away, but when I got there, something had got screwed up and they sold it. Naturally I was pissed, but only for about 2 seconds because then the guy told me I could get a brand new one for the same price, $150, the only difference was the color and there is no chip. :) I love my life sometimes.

lucky bastard. :) have fun with it.
me you wouldn't recall, cause i'm not my former.
  • Thats awesome

I was never a Tele fan at all, never saw anything in them, certainly a mexican one, until I found out the only guitar Tom Morello used on Rage Against the Machine, the self titled album, was the exact same guitar u got. Killing in the Name, Wake Up, Bullet in the Head, recorded with one of those. And to think, the first descrition I remember being given of them was a country and western guitar. Versatile little buggers!

Have fun with it man, thats a sweet deal.

My '72 custom is awesome, definately very versatile. Each position on the three position PU switch offers a whole new tone. But, because of GAS, I really really want that '57 strat re-issue.
