A fusion of these 3 is what people have described my band as sounding like...we are currently trying to get on warped tour and it would mean a lot if you guys would take the time and do this...

we've got a demo done with 9 songs...plus 2 more that aren't recorded...we're just playing shows and trying to get signed right now

Good band. I listened to your stuff so you'd get the vote.

I do not hear the comparison to SG or SP. Not even a little bit. I hear the PJ though. Just a tip, unless you can pull off SG or SP, I wouldn't promote too hard based on that description. I liked what I heard, so I kept listening, but 9 times out of 10, when someone drops those two bands as "sounds like", they get about 30 seconds to prove it, and they fail every time.

Good luck with the contest. This stuff is exciting when you have a band. I hope you win and get on the tour.

yeah I only put that up there because most people have compared us more to SG or SP more than they have pearl jam, in fact I think the only people who have said that we don't sound anything like SG or SP have been on this board...I agree about SG, I don't think we sound like them but a lot of people think we do, but when it comes to SP, aside from the vocals...some of our songs resemble SP songs almost too closely, in fact, I'm relieved that you don't think we sound anything like them...


edit: Sorry, the songs I was most refering to are not even uploaded right now...I've been changing them around so much that I forgot which ones were up there...
