Electric or acoustic? and what's your style?
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

We'll it's all about style then. Pick a body style you like and we'll talk about hardware.

I'd say you need to get a guitar equipped with both humbucker (s) and Single Coil (s) to get the widest variety of tones.

I'll second that vote.....Love my new artcore......sweet guitar.......pickups are adequate to start with, but i've since dropped in some seymour duncans for a little better sound.
Cause I'll stop trying to make a difference. I'm not trying to make a difference. I'll stop trying to make a difference. No way!

My buddy has one, I can't begin to describe how impressed I am with that thing right out of the box. With a good set-up, it's VERY playable, the stock pups are great (considering the price)... it's cozy and sounds good. The ONLY thing I have against it is the nut. I'd be for swapping in a good nut (preferably bone) as soon as possible.
