durbin, need your help

ok i dont know if you remember me saying i had cakewalk in your previous thread about rooster but anyway i am going to iinstall it and give it a shot. i need some help though how do i get my guitar to record on it... do i need a computer mich or a special wire to plug my amp into my computer? any help from anyone would be appreciated. thanks
