Agreed! Been saying it for years. Jeff is highly under-rated. He's a GREAT bass player and PJ's music could definitely use a little boost in the bass mix.

Way too often Jeff's bass is buried way too deep in the mix.

The bass in "Sometimes " is good...so smooth and adds such a wonderful element to that song. Just a wee-bit of a boost with my EQ and it really makes a huge difference.

    Let's not forget.....

    WMA
    Go
    Rats
Indifference (subtle, beautiful bass...really adds to the ambiance of the song)
    Present Tense

    ..so many more

He's my favorite bassist. He sounded so fucking good playing at the VH1 Rock Honors.
Here’s a question you might need to ask
What’s self destruction and how can we last?

"I cannot stop the thought of running in the dark.
Coming up a which way sign. All good truants must decide."

and i agree, the bass could definitely be up in the mix, oftentimes you don't get to fully appreciate jeff's work.

that is really the only thing I like to comment on when asked how the VH1 Rock Honors were...
Jeff blew me away, I didn't know he could play like that.
