and if youre worried about dave fans, trust me bonnaroo draws much worse fans than those... none of which are gonna be very friendly to PJ IMO... i would prefer for PJ to play somewhere else... but ill be there regardless

I enjoy DMB's older stuff though, a lot more then the more recent

and i don't think it will be overrun with dave fans - (1) he'll be doing his typical summer tour. not really a lot of people are going to come all the way to bonnaroo just to see him - just the ones that like all the other music, which aren't your typical, annoys dave fans and (2) it's 'dave & friends' - not dmb. i don't see the stupid, annoying 16 year old girl who "loves dave omgz!" to go to bonnaroo.
music wise, i'm a big dmb fan (old stuff)...but he'll be playing with trey anastasio & tim reynolds, and their music is pretty good. not the dmb that most are used to.

Those dirty hippies, not only were they the ones that really started this wonderful festival, but they wont be what anyone has to worry about. Its the people that think the Roo is a big free for all party to get fucked up. This festival was started to provide good music and atmosphere. That atmosphere gets ruined when people show up to only get fucked up and create drama and bullshit. Dont let that be you.
The first Bonnaroo they only had Canadian Mounted Police there to keep the peace; now there's cops and all sorts of shit. Im a die hard PJ fan, but it seems that the environment is now a bit sketchy, and the people that go can be there for the wrong reason.
