EV inspired tele

I always liked Ed's black sparkle tele, so I tried creating my own of sorts. I had a Duncan vintage P90 installed in the neck position of my Fender Deluxe Nashville Tele. I then proceeded to create an arm carve, and for extra tonal options I added the mini toggle to allow me to activate all three pups simultaniously as well as add the bridge while the main switch is in the neck position.... I stained the arm carve black, to keep it somewhat similar to Ed's, and it also allowed me to avoid refinishing the entire guitar... All in all, I love the guitar for its versitility and new found comfort in playing... I know tele purists will cringe but hey, its my guitar. Below is a link to a picture of it, I would love to hear some opinions.

Well, I for one, like it. I always thought, while a good idea, those Nashville Tele's looked kinda funny. The P90 kinda balances the look better. Not sure I would've gone ahead with the arm contour, though.

My dad put a P-90 in the neck position of his squier fat tele.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V
