Betterman. I was well happy when I played it the whole way through for the first time. I think it was the first Pearl Jam song I attempted to learn.
Pearl Jam - London Astoria 20/4/06....One hell of a night :)

    Reading 2006 - WOOOOW!!!!!

    Paris 2006 - Fucking amazing

    Wembley 2007 :D

That is one song id love to be able to play start to finish... how long were you working on it for? Can you recommend a tab site for the music... Ive only learnt the basic structure of the song

Learning songs like that note-for-note would drive me nuts. Nice accomplishment though.

Do this while strumming and make so final chord comes when bass reaches E.

Bass line is just the bottom notes of the power chords that are used in the
    beginning.

Note: These are not my tabs, for source go to UOG.

I actually used sheet music to learn. I have this "girl can't do" complex.

  • The first song I ever learned to play all the way through was Nazareth - Hair of the Dog. I remember thinking, Hell yeah, now I can play guitar!

I was also very pleased when I learned Do the evolution. I love playing that song.

I think one of my greatest accomplishments was playing & singing Even Flow all the way through....still play it at every gig.

  • I wish I could learn Ledbetter...
I want to show you something, like joy inside my head. Seems I've been living in the Temple of the Dog, where would I live if I were a man of golden words?
  • Leaving Here - The High Numbers/The Who

I learned it about a month and a half after I started playing, I was very please with myself.
"Well, I think this band is incapable of sucking."
-my dad after hearing Not for You for the first time on SNL .
