Help me not suck

I've been playing guitar for about 5 years. So I'm pretty adept with my fingers, I can play just about every song I've found tabs for. The problem is that I know 0 about guitar method and theory. I really want to learn how to recognize keys, and how to learn the scales. You guys know any good online guides that can help explain this clearly? I'm essentially a total beginner when it comes to this stuff, which is pretty sad for someone who's played for multiple years :(

this site is pretty good. The lesson parts are pretty good. I just don't have the discipline to learn it.
