Today I saw a used wine red Gibson SG junior for $550, I could probably get it down to around $500, is it worth it? The guitar seems to be in great condition, and sounds great, but is $500 too much?

Is that a single P-90 version?

    How old?

Single P-90, it doesn't say how old.

I guess the question is, is it worth it to you?

You could probably find a better deal, but if it's great condition and it's the one you want, it's probably not a bad deal, either.

  • $500 is pretty good deal....for that guitar (sg specials in general) i wouldn't pay more than that....

Seems sort of "high" but an SG is an SG, right?

If you think you will use it alot and/or enjoy having it, then it is probably worth it...
