so.... i'm trying to figure out how to get a rich bluesy tone, kinda like jeff buckley on hallelujia, or like mike on the LD version of Wash...
i don't know much about pedals, and i have a gibson les paul studio and a marshall AVT100... any suggestions of what i could do as far as mods and pedals go to get a richer sound???
thanks for the help...

buckley on 'hallelujah' is a telecaster and a fender twin reverb or possibly a vibroverb since he toured with one. i'm sure of it. i think it's the neck pickup on a dead clean amp drenched in reverb. though the reverb may actually be a post-recording effect.
it's not the kinda of sound a humbucker guitar is going to yield.0
