I've not played them, but a few folks at the gear page said that they look better than they sound.
  • hmm..

I'll assume that's true and ask what you'd recommend for a good Chorus pedal. :)

I've read some really spectacular reviews about Moollon in the most recent Guitar Player Magazine, but with such limited availability I haven't been able to find any to play yet (I haven't found many dealers here in the US).
I'd be really interested in their "Compressor" since it's supposed to be ultra quiet, and their "Chorus" sounds real nice since it's supposed to have more control than the norm - Cheers . . .

    Big fan!
So much so we are doing a demo box at The GuitarHub.
You get to try out the entire Moollon Board for free in your house :)
The board consists of every pedal in the line, including a couple they will not make.
All you need to do is sign up at the Hub and then hit the pedal section and put your name down on the stickey.
Our BJF demo box is going out soon!

    Anyway, these boxes aren't cheap!
The Wah, Octavio and Fuzz are the winners IMO. They are also not for the gigging player who messes with knobs in a set as the knobs are poorly labelled.
    WHAT IS THAT NOISE?
    Hanging at www.TheGuitarHub.com
The only Forum for players by players.......

Playing Les Pauls, Teles, Hubers, Gustavssons, Kolls through a Mad Professor amp with a Bob Burt Cab.

  • So the pedals are contrary to what Exhausted heard?

That's good to hear because I really like the way they look..

I read about them in guitar player mag too, that's why I started looking into them  .

Tell me more about this free trial you know about..

JofZ, is it too late to get in on the BJF box?? if i'm reading right, cut off was on the 10th..... i've been really dying to try some of these pedals.

i've been hanging 'round Musictoyz forum, trying to figure out how the hell i get in on these awesome pedal board lists. thanks for the heads up on the Hub.

I think Dean is still waiting for the last guys to send info, so shoot him a PM and sign up at the Hub.
Same thing on the Moollon Box.

All info is at the hub in the pedal section, the threads are sticky's.

Dean can be reached at leomuser@aol.com

Any other Demo's you want , just post it over there and we will make it happen.
We are doing a couple Guitar Demo's as well, Zematis and PRS :)

The Moollon is not for everyone, as I stated the boxes are pretty and also hard to read. The tones I like are from the wah, the octave fuzz.
The others are good, but I like some others better. The wah is hard to beat IMO.

How is the MOOLLON "Compressor" pedal??
Has anyone played one??? Anyone have any thoughts, because I'd love to hear some user feedback???????
I'd probably get one if the reviews are true (since my compressor's kind of noisy when used with overdrive).

I read a great review in Guitar Player that said:
    - "clean, quiet and natural sounding"
    - "performs as if it was designed for guitar"
    - "can add mild sustain in a very unobtrusive manner, but, even in heavily squashed settings, it has none of the pumping or breathing characteristics you can get from some compressors"
    - "Used for clean sounds, the Compressor can articulate notes in chords, and deploying it on distorted tones increase punch, thrust, and sustain"
    - "whether you're a seasoned veteran or a compressor newbie, you'll find that this Compressor is an easy-to-use device with a quality, professional sound"

    Cheers . . .
