I think the power supply I was trying to use is broken because I stuck a 9 volt in and it works!!!

I'm so happy I could cry... needed to share with some people who can understand.

    It's even more perfect because I'm gonna start playing for a fairly heavy band probably this week... I'm planning on making the singer actually sing instead of scream (even if I have do to it myself) and bringing a Smashing Pumpkins feel to the entire thing. PERFECT TIMING.
