Has anybody ever tried playing a guqin? It's an ancient Chinese instrument that was recently featured in the movie Hero. Here's a link to the North American Guqin Association where you can find more information on the instrument. I love the way this instrument sounds. Supposedly, fewer than 2000 people play this instrument today.

    I haven't heard of the name of that instrument before. I just went to a site to see what it was and I listened to a song clip.

    It sounds interesting! Yet it also sounds like it wouldn't sound out of place with a guitar. Sort of like an old-fashioned country lap guitar.
