Dave Grohl's Custom Ampeg Dan Armstrong Lucite. It's completely see through, if you haven't seen it.

Any other suggestions for the greatest guitar ever?

    Martin HD-28.

    Lucite is heavy as balls.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

    Martin HD-28V... ha ha

The stones used those Dan Armstrong guitars when they first came out... they are cool in that they have interchangable pup options. but yes very heavy.

yes the 50's and 60's era Stratocasters are some of my favorite guitars I've ever had in my hands.

    The ES-335 is another favorite.

  • '59 flame top les paul? I played one once but I would have had to re-mortagage my house to but it.

I saw a Les Paul with tube lighting around the edge of the body... it was like a flourescent green color, and it was very cool...

I'd second that... with the bass frets and 14-guage strings...

Generic, though, I'd say the '57 Les Paul.

Martin D-18E gets an honorable mention.

  • Loose Jamie Lee Curtis and that's one hell of a package deal :D
  • Bill And Tedd's SG and Les Paul at the end of Bogus journey. They look sick and even though its Kiss coming over the top, they sound good too:P
