white stripes sound

I was wondering if anyone knew what type of effect Jack white used on the solo for the song, Seven Nation Army. I know he used a slide, but I was wondering about what effects he might be using.

    They were kind of cool at the grammy's I thought.


    Big Hollowbody and a slide, nice.

    That should provide you with the bass line Jack plays on guitar in 7nation and Hardest Button, it makes the string sound an octave lower.

    I'm just guessing here really...

    That's what he uses. You can set the pedal to go up two octaves or down two octaves or anything in between. He has it set for an octave down for the verses and brings it back up to normal pitch for the chorus and solo.
