My band thinks i shud learn to play an instrument...

Thing is we are three. Guitar, drums, and me, vocals. We aint got no bass we aint got no 2nd guitar. 3 is closer to a pop band than a rockband, specially with only guitar and drums. But the thing is i dont see myself playing guitar or bass.

    if u dont feel comfortable playing guitar or bass get some other pple in dude. id prolly b lookin for a bassist if i were u. alot of awesome bands have the four structure (vox, guitar, bass, drums) zeplinn, pantera, sabbath r just a few examples.

    A rhythm guitar player who can add accompaniment on first position chords is always a good addition to a band. Or you could play cowbell! :)

    look for a bassist and a rhythm guitarist.... i like the cowbell idea!

    having a keyboardist or pianist would be cool

    bands who i can think off the top of my head who have/had them...
    pink floyd, the doors, coldplay (sounds amazing live)

    obviously learning to play guitar sounds more realistic

    find a bassist and learn to play simply rythym chords along with the songs, which will give your other guitarist more freedom to play leads and stuff.
