Providence to Tweeter Transportation??

Question...planning on flying into Providence and staying there because it's quite a bit cheaper than Boston. And it also looks like it's closer to Tweeter than Boston.

Anyone know the best option to get from Providence to Tweeter?

We would likely be staying near the Providence airport, but if it helped for public transport we could stay in the city itself.


* Public Transport

* Taxi : Getting there with Taxi shouldn't be a problem...but would there be any way to get a taxi back to Providence after the show??

* Rental Car: This would be the last resort since we'd have to pay to rent the car, parking, gas and hassle of sitting in traffic.

    Personally I'd do a rental car.

    I am staying in providence and will have a rental car going to both mansfield shows. I did have a couple people mention to me they were interested in catching a ride but in case they back out, just pm me closer to the date and we can try to work something out if you are interested.

    there is no public transportation in mansfield......commuter rail runs on a limited schedule out of providence to mansfield......so it isn't a good option.

    I think a taxi from Providence would cost more than an economy rental car. Public trans is not really an option for Mansfield.

    Go to Hotwire or Priceline and get a small rental car. You can get economy sized cars for $13/ day.

    go with the rental car route. you will sit in traffic with the rest of us leaving the show, but it's your only option. drive time from tf green to mansfield is about an hour.

    Cool, I would definitely be interested. We would only be going to the 6/28 show if confirmed.
