Looking to get an electronic drum kit! advice needed!

I'm moving down to england for 6 months at least and i cant take my kit down, so a noiseless option would be ideal for me!

anyone have any recommendations for an electronic kit that isnt crap and cheap, but also isnt too stupidly expensive?!

If you're just doing it to be able to play at home alone and keep your chops up, I'd save your $ and get one of these practice pad kits.

nah. i'd rather have something i can record through and use loads of different presets with my headphones on

Just go with a nice set of dw drums. You can get the sound your ears deserve and give your neighbors something good to hear. I am not a fan of electric plus you wont get a good recording sound

i already have a kit that i love, but living in a flat with other people for 6 months means i need either no kit, or an electric kit

My girlfriend has these. They work well except for the hi-hat control pedal, which has questionable responsiveness. Probably the cheapest good ones you'll find.

I've really liked the Roland V-series of drums, so any of those are a great place to start. They are fairly expensive, though.

I just looked for the hell of it, and these don't look half bad... they actually have drum heads, which is a nice touch:
