For this http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/sid=040530210834205188116069785827/g=home/search/detail/base_pid/482197/ pod thing, can you hook it up to your amp and it will make the sounds it says you can make, or can you only hook it up to a computer?
duoverb
Well, you can definitely plug it into a guitar amp, and it should get you pretty close to the right sound, but different guitar amps will get you different results. I know that Weezer plugs their Pod Pros into Marshall amps, after trying direct-to-PA wiring.
I thought we discussed someone making an amp designed specifically to plug a Pod into... anyone remember that?
I know that Tech 21 (maker of SansAmp) makes a guitar amp combo designed to take a preamp similar to the Pod.
that would be a mistake.
Yes! That's the one!
Wonder if it's started shipping out yet...
By-pass the preamp and run it thru the Pod. I have a bass Pod, even though I only use it for recording purposes. But thats away to do it. This way you will then just use the "Power Amp" section of your amp, and the pre amp will be useless

Yep, I once had a Flex II Plus and loved it but then sold and upgraded to Flex III Plus. Line6 done me right for the past 3 years.
