Hi guys,
I have an MBox and I need a effect pedal that I can directly use with my guitar to record in pro-tools. Which one do you guys suggest I should buy. Currently I do not have a amp and I am sick and tired of renting them. Your help is appreciated.
Cheers

I know many people might say Digitech and Line6/POD, but I've never seen either of those in any studio (they're considered kind of hokey in the industry).
However, here's a few that I have seen in the studios (but there should already be effects in your Pro-Tools Rig - you record dry and add effects after)
If you don't already have this in your pro-tools rig, then simple:

Or you could drop the $$ and get this:

Here's the other rackmout stuff (TC Electronics effects are found in many studios):

** However, if you're just looking to get a basic recording, get yourself a small clean amp, a few nice mics, and a few small stomp boxes.
Just mic up the amp with multiple mics at varying distances and record it that way.
I've recorded that way in many many studios (and I wasn't doing any demos - Studio/CD Quality recordings).
**Remember**
Jimmi Page just used a small 15 watt type Supro Amp, a Telecaster, and multiple mics to recorded the guitar on Zeppelin's first few albums - we all know how those turned out
(yes, "Stairway to Heaven" was recorded with a TELECASTER and a little Supro Amp).
Cheers . . .

Look it up on your favorite search engine and see if that's not what you are looking for.
Very cool amp.
I played the prototype a year ago at ToneFest and we just got the production amps in. Amazing for the money.
