Is finally done!

Actually, the shop received the wrong tubes so I had to wait for the correct ones to come in. The whole new set of tubes ran me $127 (canadian) and the labour for the amp check up and biasing and all that, $50. With taxes and a set of strings it was just over $200. I'm at work, it's in the back of the truck, now I have to wait 7 hours before I can try it out! arrrg.

After many rehearsals for the upcoming two night gig, I must say that the new tubes(groove tubes) sound just fine. I am very happy with the performance. But I'm still gonna try some EH tubes next time.

Can't go wrong with Groove Tubes. Thinking about retubing my Sovtek sometime in the next month or two, myself... wonder if I dare use something other than Sovtek tubes? I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Electro Harmonix tube user... tough choice. Oh well, it's all made in Russia... I'm sure it'll be E-H gear.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.
