I finally had the balls to spend a shitload of money (well for me anyway) and buy a decent amp...

i ended up going to Allans Music (musicianswarehouse.com.au) which seem to be the best and cheapest music store here in Adelaide....

i bought a Fender Hot Rod Deville 60 watt tube amp

and a Fender Mexican Telecaster

both of those for $2400 Aus


holy cow the difference in sound from my shitty 30 watt MG Marshall is huge

and the tele is a welcome change from my gothic epiphone les paul...

anyways im just really happy

    Excellent, 2x12 or 4x10?
    My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

    The amp is the exact same in both versions, it's just the speaker configuration. The 4x10 version would have tighter bass and slightly more mids, less highs.
    ...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.
