Well, we finally have some gigs coming together...
it looks like August 27th we will be playing our first gig with the new line up and we have three tenative shows for September.
New songs from last nights rehearsal.
Refugee (Tom Petty)
Red House (Jimi Hendrix, with our lead guitar player singing)
Hey Hey (What Can I say?) Led Zepplin
Day Tripper (new arrangement, I now play guitar)
Mr Brownstone, YOWZAH!! There are a lot of riffs in this song, but I think we do a pretty good version of it ...
Things are progressing.
We decided we need to add some more songs though... keep growing and getting more versatile. We were trying to come up with some stuff that "bikers" would dig... we thought of ZZ Top, George Thorogood, and a few others...
Any ideas?
I am angling for The Who and to add another PJ song. I want to play Alive... and that is still on the radio a lot here in STL, so a good choice for a cover band.
Share your thoughts please...
