Anyone else a choral singer?

We get a lot of posts about "Any guitarists/rock singers/bassists/drummers out there" but if there are any, I haven't noticed many classical type vocalists out there.

So...anyone sing (or used to sing) choral music and/or opera? If so, what's your voice part? And do you have any recommendations for good choral selections/arias, because my director is looking for suggestions when we tour Ireland next summer.

Me, I'm a first soprano, and my all-time favorite selection is a contest between the "Un bel di" aria from Madama Butterfly and "Lux Aeterna" by Imant Raminsh.
I've noticed that our senators
have very funny names.
Like Lincoln, Zell, and Saxby.
What's wrong with things like "James"?
I think that this is crazy.
I think that it should stop.
I think this is the reason
They confirmed John Ashcroft.

I was kinda "classically" trained...but I'm a rock singer through and through. I am a tenor though....like that matters

I used to sing in church with the choir when I was young...

Then as my voice changed my vocal teacher said: "you're monotone."

So, i didn't sing for the next 5-6 years...

I started singing along with Pearl Jam and figured out that I could in fact sing. I took up guitar... the rest is history.

    Well, not really history.

    Anyways, I am a baritone...
