Nirvana chords

For nirvana’s something in the way are the main chords for the verses Em and C

Or A5 and F5


And for Polly are the chords G-D-C-EM for the verses and D-C and G-A for the choruses or is it something else?

    it's actually tune down all the strings by one note, and than drop the bass D to C

    if i remember correctly the verse for something in the way is just laternating 4 and 0 on the top 2 strings 4 top, 4 2nd from top, 0 top, 0 2ndr from top...repeat

    yeah nirvana used flat tunings (tune each string down 1/2 step) so if you're in standard it wont sound as the cd does.
