Any of you guys have any opinions on or experience with the DeArmond Starfire? It's basically a Korean made ES-335 copy. I'm being tempted with one. I don't expect it to be exactly like an ES-335 or an old Guild Starfire, of course. Anyone?

I had a DeArmond for a while, not sure what make though. It was one thick hollowbody though. It was great for country music but am happier with my Gretsch hollowbody.

  • ive got the guitar you mentioned, its pretty good. not up to gibson or gretsch standards but for the price you cant expect that. i use it as my 2nd or 3rd guitar behing a les paul and a tele and it does the job well. there are definately some great sounds open to you with this guitar, and ive found it to be really reliable.
