DeArmond/Guild guitars

Any of you guys have any opinions on or experience with the DeArmond Starfire? It's basically a Korean made ES-335 copy. I'm being tempted with one. I don't expect it to be exactly like an ES-335 or an old Guild Starfire, of course. Anyone?

    I had a DeArmond for a while, not sure what make though. It was one thick hollowbody though. It was great for country music but am happier with my Gretsch hollowbody.

    ive got the guitar you mentioned, its pretty good. not up to gibson or gretsch standards but for the price you cant expect that. i use it as my 2nd or 3rd guitar behing a les paul and a tele and it does the job well. there are definately some great sounds open to you with this guitar, and ive found it to be really reliable.
