Hey does anyone know a good acoustic effect pedal for the electric guitar? I'm currently working on Aqualung by Jethro Toll and a pedal would help tremendously. I just don't know what ones are good.

  • In my opinion just like most things "Simulators" just don't do the job, and sound to cheesy. Remember back when stone used to play those electrics with the Pizo pick-up for the acoustic stuff. Just hated that. I know what your trying to do, but the only thing that makes a good acoustic tone is, well an acoustic. Thats the breaks. Other than that if your not looking for quality then go and buy a used boss acoustic simulator.

I got a Zoom acoustic simulator and it sounds amazing, everyone that has heard it has been impressed by how close it sounds to an acoustic.

Back in the day thru '98 (I believe) he used that Hamer Acoustic/Electric deal for the acoustic songs.
