So what are p 90's? Do they sound like humbuckers or single coils? How much do they cost for a pair? Could I buy a standard tele and stick em in there? And finally how much does it usually cost to have them installed at a guitar shop?
Thanks
Thanks

a pair of seymour duncans is about $150US.
they won't fit in a standard tele. routing and a new bridge would be required.
i don't know what the cost would be. it depends on the modifications required.
i have a guitar with three in it.

This is the biggest source of frustration to me ever... I love Tele's, but hate Tele pickups. I recently converted my Tele to Seymour Duncan Quarter-Pounders. They fit right into the Tele holes, require no major modifications. Just de-solder and re-solder. They have higher output, beefier tone, and maintain that single-coil character. Take a look at http://www.seymourduncan.com/website/products/teles.shtml and see what options they have. The Quarter-Pounders are the closest to a P-90 without buku-major modifications.

Well, this one isn't MINE, but it's identical to mine. It's got pickups similar to P-90's.
