I was wondering how can feedback be fixed?

As far as I can tell the tubescreamer does it.

ANy suggestions?

    Your pickups may be microphonic... getting them wax-potted or replaced with wax-potted pups might solve it. Anything that adds to your volume or gain, or affects your gain structure (i.e. boost, compressor, overdrive, distortion, fuzz, etc) will add to a problem with feedback. But the source, I'm guessing, is probably a microphonic pickup.
    ...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.
  • well the pickups are a SD classic 59, and an fender american single coil.

    Is wax potted something you can do to any pickup?

    Its a process involving Michael Stipe and being in the Country. ;)
    My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.
