Hey all,
Does anyone else notice that unlike other things it is pretty hard to find a truly amazing gear deal on Ebay.
I think it might have something to do with gear maintaining it's value.
A good example of this is the 72 tele custom. Despite the fact that there is tons of these guitars on ebay monthly most sell for 350-500$ which is pretty much what a 2nd hand 72 tele should be worth.
There are tons of hotrod deluxes on ebay and these too all seem to sell for what their worth.
It could have alot to do with generally knowledgable buyers in the guitar world also.

like people will talk about these great deals on ebay and then you go look for gear and its like why bother bidding on this when you could spend 50 dollars more and get the same thing at a shop.
