Would you like to know the most ridiculous thing ever. I thought you would, so I'll tell you.

When people selling say.... a 1000$ gibson SG standard on ebay go on there and then put in their title:
"GIBSON SG STANDARD, NOT FENDER, NOT SCHECTER"

do they honestly think that someone looking for a telecaster or something is just gonna be like "oh wow what a nice 1000$ Gibson sg" and impulse buy it? See what I am saying here.

I think it is worse for amp sales
"Marshall dsl 401, NOT MESA, NOT ORANGE, NOT FENDER"

phewf good thing he had that up there cause I almost accidentally bought that marshall thinking it was an orange amp that costs 500$ more!!!!

frikin retards.

And if any of my PJ gear friends do this sorry for calling you retards :)

    it's annoying.

they just do it to catch the people searching for the other brands. it's bending ebay's rules.
  • But do you see my point how lame it is. Cause people that are gonna spend a bunch on a guitar have researched it. People don't impulse buy guitars. That might work for cds etc but not 1000 guitar and that is why it's just dumb.
