RAT +ts9

Does anyone here own a RAT and a ts9? What do these pedals sounds like together? Like turned on at the same time. Is it wicked>?

Any experience with a keeley modded rat? The 3 way mod?

    Yeah, I used to do that. But it got wayyyyy to muddy. I just use my amps distortion now and my tube screamer.

    Thats what I currently use if I need more distortion that the tubescreamer can provide. I use the Ts9 with the dirty channel of my hiwatt.

    I was just wondering what it's like with a RAT.

    Aslo is it true that keeley is gonna be putting out a modded ibanez analog delay soon?

    I have a Keeley 3 way mod Rat2 and my DD is very similar to a Tube Screamer especially where I've been running the gain.

    It's a very cool setup with the rat behind the TS.

    I should e-mail you some sound clips, if you want some.


    it's very early 80's late 70's marshall sound. Kind of AC/DC.
    My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

    My ts9 isn't modded, but I am very tempted by the keeley rat. I think everybody in this forum knows how tempted I am by it.

    I personally wouldn't use those two together. I wouldn't object to having them both on my board, but I wouldn't use them at the same time...unless I wanted some mud.

    The Keeley stuff is top notch. Robert does to those pedals what should be done to them in the first place. :)
