Ever get those days where your tone sounds so good any riff sounds like it is the catchiest riff ever. man is it awesome.

    When I plug into a tubescreamer and a good tube amp. Basics are good for some things, yo.
    ...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

    Thats exactly what I was doing when I posted this. A tube screamer with the drive turned up into the clean channel of my hiwatt.

    I love that! Theres just no explaination for it...you turn on your amp and bam! awsome sound! A day or so later its back to that 'not quite right' sound you try to fix.
    Like a cloud dropping rain, I'm discarding allllll thought.

    i looveee when that happens..

    usually a day or so afterwards i get my settings screwed up somehow and i have an off day or two where nothing sounds right..

    i need better effects.. chiefly.. a compression..
