My BIG Request: PLAY MORE SONGS WITH KoL!!! *please*

Seriously.
I am SOOoooOOOOooOOooo stoked about more Pearl Jam \ Kings Of Leon shows ... i can't fucking wait!

However, that being said, i have ONE MAJOR REQUEST:
EDDIE \ PJ ... PLEASE PLAY MORE SONGS WITH KINGS OF LEON!

You guys really went to town singing songs and trading off lyrics with Sleater-Kinney ... Hunger Strike, Fortunate Son, MOTHER, Harvest Moon ...

I THINK IT'S TIME TO DO THE SAME WITH KINGS OF LEON.

Come on now, Eddie ... I know you fucking love these boys ... so get on with it ... Slow Night, So Long is GREAT, but we've heard that now ... what ... how many times?

How about this?

since, imho, KoL was paying you guys tribute with the intro to that song anyhow (sure sounds suspiciously similar to me, same chord, strumming) ...

the lyrics are about giving up on love and being an outsider ("those preppy boys in blue, they're making fun of us") ... and the vocal range could be GREAT for you sir, mr vedder.

KINGS OF LEON FUCKING ROCK.
PEARL JAM ARE A FUCKING LEGEND.
You did it with Sleater-Kinney over and over.
GIVE KoL THEIR DUES,
SHARE THE STAGE WITH EACHOTHER A LOT
and trade off vocals on MULTIPLE songs.

PLEASE.
It would be SO SO SO SO SO AWESOME!

    The dude looking for PJ to play ALL of Ten got like 20 responses in 5 minutes.
    3 hours later, NO one can say, "FUCKING AYE. PLAY SOME SONGS WITH THE KINGS, THEY RULE, YOU RULE, LETS GET TOGETHER AND FEEL ALRIGHT" ?

    however, i can't see the KoL doing harm to anything, and i certainly could see Eddie adding some greatness to some already wonderful songs by KoL!

    I'm with ya!!!!! KOL and PJ are my 2 favorite bands...I will hoping for more than one song together at the WPB and Tampa shows....

    Well PJ could always come out during the KoL set!

    When they played MOTHER in Canada (was it Halifax?) and at Philly '05 (didn't they?) it was at the end of the Sleater-Kinney set, NOT Pearl Jam's.

    And at MSGII '03, Eddie did Why Can't I Touch It during the Buzzcocks set.
    But even then, The buzzies got to play Sonic Reducer with the boys.

    I'm just saying, YOUVE GOT THIS SECOND AMAZING BAND IN THE BUILDING WITH YOU, ONE YOU (EDDIE) OBVIOUSLY ADORE AND APPRECIATE ... PLAY SOME FUCKING SONGS WITH THEM FOR SONGS SAKE!

    Hell Yeah!! This a great thread, DBTS!! I cannot wait for Tampa and would absolutely LOVE to see some more collaborations between PJ and KOL!!! I mean, why not??? There ain't shit else to do!!!

    Yeah.
    I think i just decided today to hit those up.
    No tix for them yet, but i put some money in my bank account today, so god willing (don't sell out now Florida!) i will snag them tomorrow.
    hitting the whole leg (minus Bonaroo) up to DC, then i'm out ...
    that is, unless i somehow get rich and can quit my job before then,
    in which case i will wing the MSG\Hartford\Boston shows somehow.

    I CAN'T WAIT for the FLA shows.
    I think they are going to be some of the shining gems of the tour.
    Fun, Sun, dope, booze, KoL and PJ, and lots of cool fans. :D

    I could also really see eddie helping with those shouts on "Fans"
    that would be awesome too!

    I'll watch KoL's set but I'm there for PJ, not a love fest with KoL.......

    lol, Seriously. So glad KOL won't be @ my shows. That Sleater-Kinney nonsense in 03 was a disgrace. ;)
