so a couple of days ago my band and i recorded a 6 song christmas album live off the floor in white rock at Turtle Studios in BC.. yayyy (the guy recording us, Larry Anschell, has had previous experience doing live recording for Pearl Jam.. i think he did a live recording of Alive.. anywho.. its really cool in there cause he's got all these cd's on the wall and a few of them are PJ's Ten so i am always pretty awestruck by that hehehehehe)(yay)

it was sooo much fun
and i am really excited about it :D
as you can probably tell by my multiple YAYS lol

the track list is this:

Hallelujah - L Cohen
Silent night
O Holy night
In the Bleak Midwinter
Shine a light - Rolling Stones
Angel - S McLachlan

yay

i've got one track from it up so if you're bored have a listen :D
(Hallelujah by L Cohen)
(this one is just me playing piano and singing.. i'll have a band track or two up soon)

    :)

it's not as appealing as one would imagine. trying to do it buckley style is like sacreligious or something. the fact that i did it at all proabably earned me a kick in the balls from jeff when i get to heaven.

You could always record "O Holy Night" Eric Cartman style...
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

Can I hold the cattle prod?

I don't care how you do it, Greg ... who's version you're covering ... whether you're wearing boxes of kleenex on your feet whilst recording ... doesn't matter!

Do it do it do it do it do it.
